Built a platform right up against it, then build a wall In front of it, and on both sides. From there you can drop down from the rock and be in a little impenetrable area, because the mutants cant reach you.

Here's one from me. The mutants are not telepathic, they will not automatically know your location, they do not automatically know you exist, they have their own routines and do not automatically wake up and think "lets kill the player".
However if mutants see you and survive, they will tell others. Therefore more will be aware. Fires will attract mutants. If you're trying to be stealthy and hide from them, I would suggest not having a fire lit at night as the mutants will wonder what the strange light is and go and investigate it.
Then they will find you. Do your cooking in the day and have no fire lit at night. This is a much more challenging approach but it can be more rewarding in terms of survival length.
There are two different variations of this strategy: staying mobile and staying far away from mutants. Covering your fires with wooden walls will also keep them from investigating the lights at night.
This works well at evading mutants but makes it difficult to satisfy basic survival needs. The mutants will also not get more aggressive to this strategy.
The distance solution is the idea of staying as far away from the mutant patrols as possible. The difficulty in this strategy is finding the perfect spot.
If the player is too secluded, they won't have supplies. If the player is in an open area, the mutants will see his fire.
The perfect spot is near trees and bushes for supplies but is also hidden mostly from view. There are spots along the coast, especially near the boat, that satisfy these requirements.
If you see a nearby patrol after coming back to your base, try to avoid sight using bushes and trees. The map is the same, but the spawn is random.
If you're lucky enough to spawn in the highlighted area , you can see a slope and a shore below. Proceed on cutting down sticks and leaves for bonfires and some materials needed for a raft , and cut down logs and push them down the shore for the raft.
Build a raft to get rid of the shark's dangerous jaw. A log holder and a stick holder can be placed on a raft which provides great space and luxury when travelling through the sea.
Once your raft is built, go find the nearest mini-island. On the island, turtles spawn in very large numbers during the night , which gives off Generic Meat , which takes a very long time before it spoils maybe 3—4 days.
Also, turtle shells can be made into water collectors , which are the best source of clean water. During the day , collect resources such as logs , sticks , and leaves in the forest, to build a fire during the night and keep yourself warm when it is raining.
Booze is found in the plane as well as in suitcases and marked on the map. Used to launch arrows, good for hunting. Cloth can be found in suitcases, and rope can be found in caves and where marked on the map.
A fully charged arrow shoot takes 2 seconds bending. Can be used as a weapon or to light the way. Sticks can be found anywere in the forest, cloth can be found in suitcases and on the beach.
Requires flintlock ammo. You can find Marigold on the ground almost everywhere and Aloe on the ground around very large trees, or by farming.
Thrown at natives, the molotov is a one hit kill and can kill multiple enemies with one throw. It will explode as soon as it comes in contact with the ground or natives.
Molotovs can be used to fuel fires. Both required items can be found in suitcases and marked on the map. Approach bushes whilst holding the rabbit pouch to collect blueberries, snowberries, twinberries and mushrooms.
Rope is used in the construction of the bow, the raft and the House Boat. It will also be required for some traps.
They are currently found hanging in caves and in native camps. Can be used as a weapon and for cutting down trees. Both the rock and the stick can be found anywhere in the forest.
Add booze after cloth, as a second upgrade to triple burn duration and slightly increase light intensity.
Poisoned arrows can be batched Poison lasts longer but does smaller damage per tick than fire. Limit to the total amount of upgrades per item.
Currently set to 30 for all weapons. You can attach 10 parts to a weapon at once. Wearing a warm suit replaces all of your current armor forcing you to choose between warmth and damage protection.

You should be able to outrun an ambush if you are not cornered. Fire and molotovs are all you need to fend off the nightly attacks.
A plane crash has left you stranded on a remote island with little guidance. Food, drink, medicine, and a trusty emergency hatchet. In combination with a survival handbook, these will be the tools that get you started on your survival adventure.
Your survival book will be the primary source for crafting recipes, but it does omit a number of crucial ones that you would otherwise have to discover yourself.

This simple island has many secrets to uncover, most of which are buried beneath the island in a series of caverns below. The caves are arduous and difficult to navigate, but indeed a rewarding task.
Key plot progression items are found almost exclusively within the caves, giving players little choice but to explore them.
