This plot point is continued at the end of " Bahama Mama ", where Roger mentions Jeff cannot get Hayley pregnant because he has an alien body, so he agrees to rebirth Jeff in " Roger's Baby ".
By the end of the episode, Jeff is human again and with Hayley on Earth. Much of the wit used in American Dad!
Later on in the episode while Principal Lewis was driving his vehicle with Steve as the passenger, he informed Steve that he was about to drive off the Grand Canyon in a murder-suicide.
This culminated in Roger saving the day, his love supernaturally allowing the car to fly once Principal Lewis drove off the Canyon; however, another vehicle with a random white man and a black boy in it opposite of Principal Lewis, a black man and Steve, a white boy had also, coincidentally enough, driven off the opposite side of the Grand Canyon in a murder-suicide attempt.
This resulted in a midair collision between the car with Principal Lewis and Steve in it and the car with the white man and black boy in it.
In these messages, Roger is also heard snapping on various people, killing three individuals from reckless driving , landing himself in court , and subsequently becoming irate and shooting up numerous people at the city courthouse for being scolded to turn off his mobile phone.

At some point in Stan's childhood, someone gave him bad advice about sex, leading to Stan's belief that masturbation would lead to hair growing on his palms and his eyes melting, a belief which Stan almost passed on to his son.

As he was driving, he accidentally ran over a raccoon, which he shot to put it out of its misery, and Francine thought was that it was the most compassionate act she ever saw.
They got married later that same year. Stan's father Jack wasn't able to attend the wedding so he had a fake father "Grandpa" Smith come to the wedding and pose as his real father for 20 years.
He constantly carries and often uses at inappropriate times two Glock 17s. He also owns an AR, Mac10, a "pen gun", MK 5, and what he calls a "sword gun" a mix of a Glock 17 and a kitchen knife , all of which are stored in his wife's spice pantry, who does not seem to notice them.
He stores weapons in random places around the house. During a mock robbery, Stan screams, "Hayley! Get the gun from the China cabinet! In the episode Black Mystery Month it is revealed Stan is a part of the Illuminuti, an organization trying to keep a peanut butter conspiracy secret.
It is believed that Stan has been in the military. This was shown only in the episode In Country This is never mentioned in any other episodes, though, and it is most likely he was a reservist, having been a career CIA man.
Stan's reflexive super-patriotism possibly stems from his father, Jack Smith. Jack, a Nick Fury-look alike, was an absent father and was believed to be a part of a group of spies known as the Scarlet Alliance.
Stan clearly worshipped his father until discovering that Jack was, in fact, a jewel thief. Stan's mother's name is Betty and she always comes to Stan when her newest boyfriend dumps her but unknown to her Stan kidnaps her boyfriends so they can never hurt her like his father did.
She later falls in love and marries the local deli owner Hercules. He has a half-brother on his father's side named Rusty who lives In Arizona.
A second half-brother named Nicholas is reported to live by a lake in Wisconsin in Meter Made. Stan is in mostly top physical shape, though he has a bit of a gut to accompany his noticeable muscle mass.
Stan's perception of his looks has been explored upon. In the first episode he's admiring himself in the mirror wearing only his underwear and thinks he's a masterpiece, but in the second season when his family points out he's a little heavyset he becomes horrified and develops anorexia.
Stan is portrayed as drastic, rash, insensitive, inconsiderate, dog-eat-dog, and very masculine. Although Stan is, for the most part, a loving husband and father, he often causes problems within the home with his 'God Bless America' attitudes, possibly showing him having right-wing authoritarianism.
Stan also seems to prize popularity; he encouraged Steve to date cheerleaders, and has expressed shame in his son on several occasions.

In "May the Best Stan Win" Stan is revealed to have signed up for the CIA's cybernetics program and intends for his body to be cryogenically frozen until the CIA develops the technology needed to turn him into an cyborg.
Eventually, Stan's cybernetically enhanced self finds a way to travel back 1, years to the present because he missed Francine and wishes to spend time with her, however this eventually sparks friction between the present Stan and the cyborg Stan, leading to a fight in which the current Stan successfully defeats his future self.
In "The Longest Distance Relationship" one possible version of the future is shown when Jeff and Ghost Sinbad emerge from a wormhole some sixty years in the future.
In this version of the future Stan is shown to have migrated into a Gorilla body due to his belief that an ape uprising will occur.
As the episode draws to a close Stan's prediction proves true, but when Stan moves to side with the apes he is unexpectedly killed by them.
In "Dreaming of a White Porsche Christmas" it is revealed that the reason that Stan's family is so dysfunctional is due to Stan's failure to appreciate what he has, which resulted in his marriage to Francine, his geeky son, his liberal daughter, and his adoption of a liberal version of Roger.
Initially this was supposed to be a temporary setup, but the Angel assigned to Stan's case died, and it took his Christmas wish for the situation to resolve itself.
Stan is then returned to what was supposed to be his ideal family: a conservative wife named Mary, an athletic son, a conservative and mild manner daughter named Ruth, and a version of Roger who does not partake in disguises, drinking, or drug use and holds a single legitimate job as an optometrist named Gerald.
Despite being described as Stan's "ideal" family Stan rejects this version of his wife, his children, and Roger, and goes to great lengths to get back to his original, dysfunctional family, which he succeeds in doing.
In "A Star is Reborn" it is established that Stan is the reincarnation of a deceased movie star named Lenard. At the time Lenard was having an affair with Gloria Delmar, an alternate version of Francine.
After the affair came to light both were killed by June Rosewood, Lenard's wife at the time. After rediscovering Lenard's reincarnation in Stan in the present, June welcomed Stan to her house and showed him the old movies he had made in his past life.
When Stan rejects her for Francine, June once again attempts to kill them both, only to end up dying when Stan and Francine turn the tables on her.
